Where an ingredient comes from, and who actually makes the product, matters to us just as much as what's in it. Choosing suppliers on integrity, and choosing to design, manufacture and own Bower entirely in the UK, are not two separate decisions. They come from the same place.

Choosing Suppliers on Integrity, Not Just Price

It's always cheaper to cut corners: a less scrutinised supplier, a shortcut on testing, an ingredient sourced wherever it's cheapest that quarter. We've chosen not to work that way. Every supplier relationship is built on the same questions: can we trust what's actually in this ingredient, can we trace where it came from, and would we be comfortable explaining that choice to a customer who asked. If the answer isn't a clear yes, we look elsewhere.

Why Manufacturing in the UK

Daily Greens is manufactured in the UK, at a facility certified to BRCGS Food Safety and NSF/ANSI 455-2 GMP standards, with every batch tested for purity, including heavy metal and microbiology screening. Keeping production close to home means shorter supply chains, fewer hands the product passes through, and far more oversight over how it's actually made, not just a certificate to point to.

Bower Botanicals is a UK company in the fullest sense: designed, manufactured and owned here, not a brand built elsewhere and rebadged for a UK audience. That matters to us because it means accountability sits close to home. When a decision needs making, whether about an ingredient, a supplier or a formulation change, it's made by the people who founded this brand, not passed down a long chain.

Honest About Where We Are

We're not yet certified organic, and we're not yet B Corp certified, though both are goals we're actively working toward. We'd rather say that plainly than overstate where we are. Responsible sourcing, to us, is an ongoing commitment, not a badge we've already earned.
